When I graduated from drama school last year, I wanted to maintain the skills that I had developed over the three years of my training. I was fortunate enough to win the Alan Bates Bursary 2007, which introduced me to the vibrant, professional and familial atmosphere of the Actors Centre. The Actors Centre provided me with a safe and truthful environment, where I could experiment while still having fun. I am constantly inspired by the classes, tutors and members who have contributed to my motivation. With such a variety of classes, there is always something new to discover about yourself as an actor.
Since winning the bursary I have performed in Branded at The Old Vic, Shut Up at the Etcetera Theatre, and Dilemma of a Ghost at the National Theatre of Ghana. As well as having TV auditions for the BBC and ITV dramas, I have even successfully produced a new play Pilot Project at the Tristan Bates Theatre.
