Message from our Artistic Director
This Autumn the Actors Centre is programming an exciting range of new workshops to enable you to expand your craft and inspire yourself with new challenges.
We are really excited to have Ian Rickson leading an advanced workshop on Hamlet and an intense and exhilarating workshop with Annie Castledine on Mother Courage as well as another opportunity for you to work with some of our most promising young theatre directors including Lorne Campbell of Greyscale and Max Key who trained at the National.
Kevin Tomlinson will be complementing the run of his one-man show in the Tristan Bates Theatre with a workshop on creating your own work and Guy Michaels and Lara Parmiani continue their successful practical workshops on voiceover technique. Jeremy Stockwell introduces a new workshop on how to succeed at auditions and those looking to establish a solid technique in screen acting should check out new workshops by Nicholas Prosser, Mark Street and Caroline Webster. New tutors Robert Knights and Carolyn McLeod will be exploring the casting, rehearsing and shooting processes of TV and film production and I can also highly recommend the excellent Audition class led by Casting Director, Simone Reynolds and Director, Paul Miller.
